Easy Guidelines to Setup Roku Premiere

Prepare the Roku streaming device and turn it on for the activation process. There are a set of instructions you must complete for activation

·         Turn on the streaming Device

·         Connect the necessary cables. Use the HDMI cable to connect the streaming device to the Roku tv

·         Insert the power cable to your streaming device and power up the device

Set the language and the Display type

·         Turn  on the  streaming device and wait until the Roku logo appear on the screen

·         It is important to set the language and display type. You are free to  choose any language you like

·         Connect the device to a good speed network connection

·         Latest models of Roku streaming device require a minimum internet speed of around 3.0 MBPS for standard definition contents and 9.0 Mbps for high definition contents

·         Check the network speed before you proceed

·         Wireless connection- If it is a wireless connection, choose the wireless connection type and provide the credentials

·         If you prefer a wired connection, choose the required settings from the screen

Create a Roku account

·         It is important that you must have a Roku com link account to complete the channel activation process. Make a note  of the  activation code that is displayed on your TV Screen

·         Sign in and provide the  code in the required space

·         Complete the onscreen instructions promptly

·         In case if you come across issues with the Roku account, deactivate the account and create a new account

What if you come across errors during the device setup

·         Check if you have a valid Roku account

·         Check the internet connection status. Try restarting your Roku streaming device once and check if the errors still persist ( Go to settings >system > System Restart)

·         Make sure your streaming device has the updated version of the software. If not try updating the latest version of the software

·         Check and verify the speed of the Internet connection

·         Position the streaming device close to the Router and it will be good if you avoid connecting multiple devices to the Router. Try using the range extenders to improve the signal strength of the router
